Altimetry Data Dedicated to Coastal Ocean Analysis

This presentation will make a status on satellite altimetry over coastal areas by focusing on the PISTACH products, both level-2 and Sea Level Anomalies (SLA) datasets.
After detailing some steps of the PISTACH level-2 and level-3 processing, concrete results will be exhibited in the Agulhas Current system, near the Florida Keys, in the Mid Atlantic Bight and along Oregon coasts.
Future work in the development of coastal altimeter products will also be discussed, particularly using new technologies for accessing a better accuracy at high-resolution with a reduced contamination by land.
