Deformation monitoring of coastal region supplies information which is essential in infrastructural development and anthropogenic activities in the coastal zone. In this study we focus on Anzali region on the southern rim of the Caspian Sea, use Envisat SAR and ALOS PALSAR data that were acquired in the region during 2003-2010, and analyze them using InSAR time-series analysis to asses subsidence hazard in the region. The result of ground surface deformation is compared against surface geology and lake level information to evaluate flooding hazard in the area.
