Coseismic model of the Hosseinabad,Iran,Earthquake from Pixel Offset, Multiple-Aperture and Conventional Interferometry

The Mw 6.5 Hosseinabad earthquake occurred on 20 December 2010 in the Kerman province of Iran, approx 100 km away from BAM city. In this paper, we use ALOS PALSAR data and evaluate source parameter of this earthquake using a combined analysis of Multiple-Aperture Interferometry (MAI), pixel offset and conventional Interferometry observations. The geodetic observation from the coseismic displacement field is then inverted using a genetic optimization method to derive source parameters and slip distribution on the fault. The results are then compared to the previously published coseismic models of this earthquake.
